Firefighter 2 Certification Program

 Spring  2008 - Starting March 2008

 Class:     Fire Fighter 2 Certification class. (class includes full Hazmat Operational Certification which is a part of the  certification exam.)

Description: The Firefighter 2 program is the next step in firefighter training. The program is based on the NFPA 1001 2002 ed. standard for Firefighter Level 2 certification and will utilize the IFSTA training lesson and manuals. Open only to those that have successfully completed Firefighter 1, this course is required for those who wish to become certified Instructors or Officers. This accelerated program is 2 1/2 months long and will conclude prior to the Holiday Season (Late November).

All Classes will be held at Fairfield Regional Fire School, 205 One Rod Highway, Fairfield, CT 06824.

When:    March to June 2008 - Monday and Wednesday Evenings 7-10 pm, occasional Saturdays 8 am - 4 pm

Cost:       $450.00, (Price includes books.) Checks made payable to Fairfield Regional Fire School or Department PO. Application attached. 

  • Note to CT Fire Chief's - Sponsoring departments are eligible for 50% tuition reimbursement for students that successfully complete the FF1 program.
