A visit to the fire house is not just a fun trip, it is a learning experience. Children who listen to firefighters are taught critical life saving skills such as Stop, Drop and Roll, how to escape if there is a fire and dialing 911. To schedule a group tour at one of our stations, please call 254-4708.

Note to group organizers: While we make every effort to have firefighters at stations during a scheduled tour, we can not control when and where  fires and other emergencies occur (over 9000 of them in Fairfield during 2006).  Sometimes, our firefighters are not at the station when you arrive or have to leave during the tour. When responding to alarms, we are not usually able to call your group. As such, we apologize in advance if this happens to your group.
